These are the site rules, as is obvious by the title. Please keep in mind that there are certain consequences for each time you break a rule. For your convenience, here are just the first three consequences:
Consequences:
First Time: You are sent a warning via PM
Second Time: You are warned visibly on your bar and may be banned for a certain amount of time based on the importance of the rule broken.
Third time: You are warned visibly and banned for a week or longer depending on the rule broken.
Alright, well, now that's taken care of...
Signing Up Guidelines:
Please sign up with the name of your character as your user-name.
There is a max of three (3) characters per person and if you want more than one character, you need to make a separate account for each.
Your characters may be monsters or unearthly vampires, but they have flaws! There will be no mary-sue or -stue here!
When making your character's profile, please don't use pictures for character descriptions.
In Character Rules:
You cannot post in the role-play boards without having your character accepted by a staff member.
No god-modeling or power-playing.
Romance is allowed, but keep in mind not to be too gory on the details.
This site is PG-13 for a reason, so no being immature.
Literacy is important here. London Bridges is for intermediate to advanced role-players. The limit in a post is at least 150 words. We have a word counter for a reason, people, it isn't there for decoration.
On that note, please use the spell check. It's a nice little button by the 'preview' button when making a post, and comes in handy.
I ask you not to use fancy fonts, glows, shadows, or forms while in character. Some players might not be able to read it and that becomes a problem.
No killing characters without the player's consent and an admin's knowledge of it all.
Role-play in the third person, please. And past tense, too!
A character can only be in one place at one time.
If you absolutely have to go out of character (OOC), please use brackets or parenthesis and please do not use chat-speak in the role-play boards.
A big thing I'm worried about is that you guys might think you have to follow the Code exactly. No, you don't. This site is about change, corruption, and destiny. For example, a vampire could fall in love with a human, and a were-wolf could show his or her true form. There will be repercussions, as is to come with decisions in the real world, but that's just how it is.
Some character may be loathe to follow the Code and some may only think of the Code and go by the laws religiously.
You choose how your character may act. Just keep in mind that leaders may react how they wish to the decisions your character makes.
General:
No spamming.
Signatures can be no bigger than 500 x 200.
Sites can only be advertised in the Advertising Board.
